Singing lessons that build confidence

Good voice lessons do more than teach songs. Our teachers help students develop healthy vocal technique, breathing, pitch and musicianship, along with the confidence to sing in front of others. Lessons are one-on-one, so each student works on their own voice at their own pace.

Students can explore classical, musical theatre, pop, jazz, folk and more. We also prepare students for Royal Conservatory of Music (RCM) voice exams, and both of our voice teachers have trained to a high level themselves.

Jessica

RCM Grade 9 voice and Grade 8 piano, and in her 10th year with the Calgary Philharmonic Chorus. Classical, jazz, folk, musical theatre and rock, for beginner to intermediate students of all ages.

Noelle

A Master of Music from the University of Lethbridge who sings with the Calgary Opera Chorus. Teaches ages 7 and up, beginners to advanced, in classical, musical theatre and pop.

Simple weekly voice lessons

Voice lessons are $43 per 30-minute lesson at our West Springs studio, open Monday to Thursday 2 to 9 PM and Friday 1 to 8 PM. Lessons are once a week, which makes them easy to fit around school, work and activities.

Singers can share their progress at our February and June recitals. Performing is optional, and family and friends are welcome to attend for free. Want to sing and play? Jessica also teaches piano, so see our piano lessons too.

Before Your First Lesson | Voice

What age can my child start voice lessons?

We teach singers of all ages, and some teachers prefer certain ages. Noelle teaches students ages 7 and up, and Jessica teaches students of all ages. Tell us about your child and we’ll suggest the best fit.

What styles can I sing?

Our teachers cover classical, musical theatre and pop, as well as jazz, folk and rock. Tell your teacher what you love to sing.

Do you prepare students for RCM voice exams?

Yes. We prepare students for Royal Conservatory exams, and we also teach students who simply want to sing for fun.

Is 30 minutes long enough?

Yes. A half hour is perfect for a beginner, and all new students start with weekly 30-minute lessons.

If it isn’t a fit, email us within one week after the last trial lesson to withdraw. Otherwise, regular lessons simply continue, and after that we ask for 6 weeks’ written notice to stop lessons.
